how did we name the business?

Naming a business is hard and takes a lot of attempts, website domain checks and a link to us and our personalities. Finally, we came up with letsrocc. But how did we get there? Read on...

Cutting paper

We literally typed out both of our names and cut them into squares. Then we started to put together a series of options and letsrocc came out of around thirty different attempts!

Music drives us

letsrocc came up in the various options and we both agreed that this was the best one.
Why?
We're both musicians, we thought the name sounded like it had energy and drive and so it seemed to fit perfectly.

numbers

We both have the lucky number 7. So, in our name is also the fact that we have only 7 unique letters. This just added to the reasoning for creating this name and brand.

Colours

Claudia is a lover of Turquoise. 
We therefore decided that we should have turquoise in the mix. Black seemed to be both clean and compatible with the colour.

CC

The "CC" in our name is representative of "Claudia" and "Chris" and that's why we are not called "letsrock"

We think that makes sense! 

HEX Code

Finally, we realised that the turquoise colour in HEX graphical code is #6cc6cc. This rounded things of nicely for us as it also meant we had representation of our initials in the colour. The branding exercise was complete!
